Ilan Dei Studio was recently feature in the April 2010 fashion Issue profiling A. Kinney Court.
Designed by Ilan Dei Studio, A. Kinney Court is described as a “concept fashion boutique and eyewear gallery” on Abbot Kinney Blvd. Located just a few blocks away from our design studio and workshop in Venice, CA. The interior was not only designed but completely fabricated and constructed by Ilan Dei Studio (project team: Ilan Dei, Peter Turba and Scott Chamberlain) with the intention of dynamically displaying the eyewear and other products. 
The design intention takes cues from a variety of inspirations, ranging from the Eames bent plywood processes and skateboard construction to the sand dune formations and ocean waves seen along the neighboring coast.
A. Kinney Court is a concept fashion boutique and optical eyewear gallery founded by Garrett Leight at 1423 Abbot Kinney Blvd in Venice, CA. Ilan Dei Studio envisioned and created the entire space taking inspiration from the Eams molded plywood process, as well as drawing cues from the natural forms of the near by sand and ocean.
Garrett Leight, who is the son of Oliver Peoples founder Larry Leight, and A Kinney Court were featured in the New York Times Moment blog.
